I'm Katy Janginejad, a recent Master of Architecture graduate from Woodbury University, with a concentration in Design Computation. My thesis, Fluid Future: Design for a Rising World, focused on amphibious, self-sufficient homes designed to adapt to rising sea levels—blending environmental awareness with technical innovation. I approach architecture with the mindset that design is both a creative act and a responsibility to the future.
Originally from Tehran, I earned my Bachelor's degree in Architectural Engineering while working as a junior architect and launching my own clothing brand, Klee. That experience taught me how to balance precision and vision, skills I now bring into every design process. Since moving to Los Angeles, I’ve built a life around learning, growing, and contributing meaningfully to architecture projects that are both grounded and imaginative.
Beyond architecture, I’m an active person who finds clarity in movement. I play tennis, recently picked up golf, and unwind through long drives around the city. I meditate and practice yoga most mornings, and I enjoy writing, painting, playing piano, and watching classic and historical films, anything with strong visuals and good storytelling. I follow luxury architecture and design closely, always drawing inspiration from beautiful places and lifestyles around the world.
Currently based in Hollywood Hills, I’m seeking opportunities where I can contribute to high-impact design teams, especially those working in residential, computational, or future-resilient architecture. I bring creativity, technical expertise, and a deep respect for both the built and natural environment.
